Call of Duty mod: Galactic Warefare

It’s no secret that one of the best games on the X-Box 360 in the last year or so is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.  So how do you take a deliciously geek-approved game and make it even better?   Bring it into the Star Wars universe.   Some German fan community has taken it upon themselves to create this mod and is now getting international attention.  Throw in a Slave Leia rescue mission and you’ll see people just throwing money at this.

Thanks to GossipGamers for digging out there translator machine and sharing.

Just replaced the video with a better YouTube version with NO commercials!

Yeah for some reason I don’t remember anyone changing clips on their blasters in Star Wars? I know nothing of modding so maybe it’s not so easy to re-skin the guns as it is the maps & the characters.

Very cool…however the game would be FAR too easy…You ever see a Storm Trooper be any good in a fight? lol They turn a corner and run right into a laser…

I was excited at first, I thought it would be maybe a downloadable 360 feature. This is for PC only eh?

Haha, well I’m hoping that the AI is based on COD and not the Star Wars movies themselves!

And sadly, yes, it’s going to be PC only. To get it to slip through the X-box they’d have to go through tons of red tape and pay bunches of money for licensing and be given a blessing from Lucas. Which none will happen. Creating a mod on a public server for PC’s to connect to is the only way you’ll get to see it.
